Nigerian airline, Air Peace is expected to take a 70 per cent stake in LIAT 2020 Limited.
The carrier will be run strictly on a commercial basis.
Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda Gaston Browne in making the announcement says efforts are underway to establish the air operating certificate.
