Barbadian songstress, The Right Excellent Robyn Rihanna Fenty, has earned another iconic first.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences revealed her single, “Lift Me Up,” from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” is up for best original song at the 95th Academy Awards.
This is her first Oscar nod.
Rihanna has already won seven Grammy Awards.
She is set to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show on February 12 and may well perform on a second mega-platform exactly one month later – the 95th Annual Academy Awards.
