There were 105 new COVID-19 cases recorded on Friday, September 2nd, from the 397 tests carried out by laboratories across the island.

The positive cases comprise 13 people under the age of 18, and 92 who are 18 years and older.

The number of people in isolation facilities was 75, while 795 were in home isolation.

The laboratories carried out 756,400 tests since February 2020, and recorded 101,397 COVID-19 cases (45,876 males and 55,521 females).

Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of people who are fully vaccinated is 154,421 (57.0 per cent of the total population or 67.6 per cent of the eligible population).
