117 COVID-19 cases recorded March 11th

There were 117 new COVID-19 cases, 47 males and 70 females, recorded from the 907 tests conducted on Friday, March 11th, by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

Of the positive cases, 28 people are under the age of 18, and 89 are 18 years and older.

The number of people in isolation facilities was 48, while 1,285 were in home isolation.

The public health laboratory has carried out 597,029 tests since February 2020, and recorded 56,922 COVID-19 cases (26,387 males and 30,535 females).

Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of people with at least one dose is 160,577 (70.3 per cent of the eligible population).

The total number of fully vaccinated individuals is 150,271 (55.4 per cent of the total population or 65.8 per cent of the eligible population).
