Barbados recorded 134 new cases of COVID-19 (54 females and 80 males) from the 737 tests carried out on Thursday, June 23rd, by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.
The cases consist of 13 people under the age of 18, and 121 who are 18 years and older.
There were 27 people in isolation facilities, while 924 were in home isolation.
The public health laboratory has conducted 700,582 tests since February 2020, and recorded 83,524 COVID-19 cases (38,092 males and 45,432 females).
Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of individuals with at least one dose is 162,521 (71.2 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated people is 153,389 (56.6 per cent of the total population or 67.2 per cent of the eligible population).
The eligible population represents those who are 12 years and older.
