The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory identified 178 new COVID-19 cases, 66 males and 112 females, from the 826 tests conducted on Tuesday, June 7th.

Of the positive cases, 47 people are under the age of 18, and 131 are 18 years and older.

There were 40 people in isolation facilities, while 1,248 were in home isolation.

The public health laboratory has conducted 691,618 tests since February 2020, and recorded 81,800 COVID-19 cases (37,296 males and 44,504 females).

Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of people with at least one dose is 162,506 (71.2 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated people is 152,946 (56.4 per cent of the total population or 67 per cent of the eligible population). The eligible population represents those who are 12 years and older.
