201 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded out of the 2,427 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on Wednesday, September 29th.
The new cases comprise 94 males and 107 females.
Of these 201 new cases, 39 individuals are under the age of 18, and the remaining 162 are 18 years and older.
There are 995 people in isolation.
Barbados has recorded 8,381 confirmed cases of the viral illness, since March 2020.
The public health laboratory has performed 317,746 tests.
A total of 135,036 first doses have been administered under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19. To date, 104,912 individuals (38.7% of the population) have received their second dose and are fully vaccinated.
