2,493 Welcome Stamp applications approved as of Sept. 30th

There have been 3,935 applications to the Barbados 12-month Welcome Stamp Programme with 2,493 approved, as of September 30th.

These statistics were compiled by the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc., with data received from the Barbados Immigration Department.

According to the data provided, the top five leading countries with citizens seeking entry under the programme are the US, the UK, Canada, Nigeria and India.

Of the applications received, 64% were from individuals and 36% from families.

63% of applicants were male, and 37% female.

Those applying have occupations in fields including information technology, health science, marketing, sales and services, business management and administration, arts, audio/video technology and communications, and education and training.
