
The COVID-19 death toll in Barbados now stands at 88 after two more people, including a man in his 30’s, succumbed to the viral illness early this morning.
The 36 year old man died while in primary isolation at the Harrison Point Isolation Facility, where he spent 19 days. He was unvaccinated.
A 78 year old woman also succumbed to the virus after spending three days in primary isolation at Harrison Point. She had pre-existing conditions and was unvaccinated.
Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, has extended condolences to the loved ones of the deceased.
