There were 407 new COVID-19 cases (183 males and 224 females) recorded from among the 1,467 tests carried out by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on Thursday, May 12th.
The cases comprise 103 people under the age of 18, and 304 who are 18 years and older.
The number of people in isolation facilities was 105, while 3,856 were in home isolation.
The public health laboratory has conducted 667,921 tests since February 2020, and recorded 75,845 COVID-19 cases.
Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of people with at least one dose is 161,994 (70.9 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated people is 152,324 (56.2 per cent of the total population or 66.7 per cent of the eligible population).
