Five babies – three boys and two girls – were born at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital today.
32 year old Shara Babb’s son came into the world at four minutes to one weighing just over nine pounds. He was followed by 26 year old Aliyah Gibson’s daughter at two minutes past three. She weighed approximately seven pounds, one ounce.
At 5:30am, 33 year old Nikita Watson gave birth to a girl who weighed approximately seven pounds, followed half an hour later by 35 year old Alicia Holder’s son. He weighed about seven pounds as well.
The fifth baby, a boy, came into the world at twenty-five minutes past 11. No other information was available up to news time.
The private Bayview Hospital did not register any Christmas births.
