Address global inequities to mitigate climate change

Global inequities must be addressed in order to mitigate the devastating effects of climate change.

This is according to Special Envoy to the Prime Minister of Barbados on Investment and Financial Service, Professor Avinash Persaud.

He believes the solution lies in implementing multifaceted climate friendly solutions across the board.

Professor Persaud made these remarks on the ‘Battle for Climate Change Finance Webinar’.

According to him, small island developing states (SIDS) must strengthen alliances in order to access resources and influence climate action.
