There are fears childhood obesity in Barbados is getting worse.
That’s why officials from the Childhood Obesity Programme want the School Nutrition Policy implemented, to allow access to more affordable healthy food.
They’re concerned about statistics from the Heart and Stroke Foundation, which show one in every three children is either overweight or obese.
