At least four injured in three-car collision

Four people reported injuries after an accident between three vehicles yesterday.

Police from District A Station responded to a collision with injuries which occurred around 3:10 pm on Sunday 5 December 2021, at the junction of Station Hill Road, Bridge Road & Hindsbury Road, all in the Parish of St Michael.

Involved were two motor cars and a fire tender which was responding to an emergency call.

The fire tender MP490 was travelling from Bridge Road towards Bank Hall whilst the motor car MX104 was travelling from Station Hill towards Hindsbury Road, the other motor car MA2144 was traveling in the opposite direction when they became involved in a collision.

The driver of motor car MA2144 complained of bruises to her right knee, right side and right arm she along with two juveniles who complained of pain to their hips were treated at the scene by ambulance personnel. Meanwhile, the driver of MX 104 was taken away to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for medical attention as she complained of pain to her head neck and back.

Both motor cars were extensively damaged whilst the fire tender received moderate damage.

Investigations are ongoing.
