As Barbados confronts a spike in Covid-19 cases, it is being advised to give consideration to implementing no movement days, a measure adopted by some of its regional neighbours.
The Barbados Association of Medical Practitioners, while stressing locking down the country completely is not the answer, is pushing for stricter measures regarding movement.
First Vice President, Dr. Adanna Grandison, who is also the Consultant Manager for Home Quarantine, says additional measures are needed to assist in the fight.
She was among the panel for CBC TV8’s News Extra.
Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic weighed in on the concept of no movement days.
