Bandleaders preparing for Crop Over

The feeling of Crop Over is definitely in the air as bandleaders across the island open their work shops, letting the creativity come out.

However, some of them producing for Kiddies Kadooment say they are in a race against time for this year’s event.

Leader of Northern Mas, Randolph “Woodie” Woodroofe says they reduced the band to 120 members, divided into four sections to stay on schedule.

Giving a sneak peek into the band, he said two individuals, two couples and a king and a queen are in the line up.

Tropical Splash, a Foreday Morning band, is also coming from the band house.

Mr. Woodroofe also offered some ideas for the development of the national festival.
