Barbadians able to enjoy sea eggs this season

Barbadians will still be able to enjoy sea eggs this season.

A Vincentian company, Canouan Foods Limited, at Skyway Plaza, Christ Church, has heard the cries of Barbadians for the delicacy and will have sea eggs available from this week.

The Barbados Fisheries Department said last week, there would be no harvesting this year.

Canouan Foods Limited’s Sales Executive Tia Nurse explained how they are able to offer sea eggs without contravening the Fisheries Department’s Directive.

The company opened its doors today and the Sales Executive told the business report it is a one-stop shop, with a wide variety of items.
