The Barbados/Canada relationship has been lauded with the High Commissioner of Canada, Lilian Chatterjee this Canada Day recognizing the contributions of Barbadians to the development of the country.
Canada’s national holiday, observed on July 1st, is a day where Canadians across that country and around the world show their pride in their history, culture and achievements.
Ms. Chatterjee noted relations have grown between the two countries since the time of trading cod for rum.
She was a guest on CBC TV8’s Mornin’ Barbados.
