Barbadians turned up in their numbers for services in churches across the country this Good Friday – one of the most important religious days marked by the Christian community.
The day is one Christians from across the various demoninations show reverence for Jesus Christ’s suffering for humanity.
During the celebration of ‘the Lord’s Passion – Family Devotion’ at the St. George Parish Church, Rector Senator Reverend Dr. John Rogers suggested the state of Jerusalem in the time of our Lord is a microcosm of our world in the 2st century.
He called on Barbadians this Good Friday to reflect on the children of Jerusalem as they are portrayed in the Passion of our Lord and on those called to lead them.
