Some Barbadians have been mistaking a bad flu detected in the island for COVID-19.
Emergency Room Physician, Dr Hilary Moore confirmed to the Morning Report that many people have been complaining about the severe symptoms of this flu.
According to her, it shares some similar symptoms with the Omicron variant which predominantly affects the upper respiratory tract.
