Barbados now has the full support of France in its fight against climate change.
Today Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley met with French Minister of State for Development, Francophonie and International Partnerships Chrysoula Zacharopoulou and her team to discuss how the two countries can move forward financially ahead of the June ECLAC Conference in Brussels.
Speaking to the media after their meeting, the French Minister said they are working toward global justice and the developing world needs to do more to help vulnerable countries.
Prime Minister Mottley, who was thrilled about the new partnership, says President Emmanuel Macron has always been onboard and understands the Bridgetown Agenda as all countries need to work together.
