The Barbados Boy Scouts Association has had to revamp its programming in a bid to recruit new members.

According to Deputy Chief Commissioner, Dr Martin Taylor, to achieve 111 unbroken years is a testament to the commitment of those who have served in the movement.

He says the organization has moved from regular Scouts to include Sea and Air Scouts.

He told Mornin’ Barbados the Boy Scouts Association has transformed over its existence to meet the needs of those called to serve.

Several activities are planned this month to mark the 111th anniversary of the Association.

March has been designated as Scout Month.
