Barbados joined in global activities on Pi Day on Monday to celebrate mathematics.
The message ‘Math Unites’ stood out at the Mathematics Village located in the auditorium of the Media Resource Department.
That’s where samples of students and teachers’ work, as well as resource materials are being showcased until Friday.
Minister of Education, Technological and Vocational Training, Kay McConney toured the village and was moved by the exhibits.
She reminded Barbadians mathematics is everywhere and in every day things we do.
