Barbados is boosting its relationship with the African Export-Import Bank as it eyes opportunities available in Africa.
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley outlined potential linkages during a courtesy call by the visiting President of Afreximbank, Professor Benedict Oramah.
The two sides also inked a memorandum of understanding.
Ms. Mottley is optimistic given Afreximbank’s influence and work in promoting trade in Africa.
She notes where there are tremendous opportunities, people must be able to see them first hand to have the confidence to invest.
Meanwhile, Professor Oramah says the MOU concretizes the vision the leaders have for boosting the relationship between the two regions.
