Africa Day celebrations took on even more significance today, as it truly went global for scores of students from Barbados, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa and Jamaica.
That’s because students and their teachers from a number of schools here in Barbados as well as schools from those countries, took part in a major digital cultural exchange to mark the day, inclusive of entertainment, indigenous foods, fashion and more.
Through live streaming they were also able to interact by asking questions about each other’s countries and culture, while sharing important knowledge and little known facts about their own.
