The Barbados Association of Retired Persons (BARP) next week will be embarking on a road show in a bid to sign up new members and at the same time connect with current members.
The event is dubbed ‘BARP is on the Road’.
President, Marilyn Rice-Bowen says the organisation has over 23,000 members noting there are several benefits of joining BARP.
Interested individuals on the routes of the road show – the Valley Resource Centre in St. George, the Eric Holder Municipal Centre in St. Joseph and the Belleplaine Resource Centre in St. Andrew – set for Tuesday, March 28 are asked to walk with their identification cards.
Ms. Rice-Bowen was a guest on CBC TV8’s Mornin’ Barbados.
