Following the lowering of its age requirement from 50 to 40 years old, BARP will host a “membership fest” on Wednesday, April 20th at its headquarters in Hastings, Christ Church.
There, interested individuals will be able to join the Association or renew their membership.
While acknowledging the rising cost of living domestically, Ms. Rice-Bowen is urging Barbadians 40 years and older to sign up and take advantage of the many benefits BARP offers, which she says go beyond shopping discounts.
