Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley participated in the second edition of the President’s Chat with President of the Caribbean Development Bank Dr. Hyginus Leon.
During that session she stressed that Barbados will continue to fight for access to concessional funding in the face of climate change, the COVID-19 pandemic and other vulnerability issues.
Meanwhile Dr. Leon says Barbados and other SIDS need to use other measures to say they are different – for example, duration to recover from events like hurricanes and even the COVID-19 pandemic.
