A yellow alert for Barbados’ marine area remains in place, advising people with small craft and sea bathers to exercise caution for northerly swells.
The alert is expected to expire at 6 this evening.
Director of the Barbados Meteorological Services, Sabu Best says the swells are expected to die down coming into Tuesday night, Wednesday and for the remainder of the week.
He wants Barbadians and seabathers to be cautious and remain vigilant when going to the beach.
