Beware of food adulteration

During the debate on the Animal Health and Veterinary Public Health Bill, Government Senator Shanika Roberts-Odle encouraged Barbadians to research the concept of food adulteration.

She says it is a practice evident in the food we consume.

Food adulteration is defined as the practice of adulterating food or contamination of food materials by adding a few substances of poor quality.
