Anglican Bishop of Barbados, The Right Reverend Michael Maxwell, is saddened by the news of the pending closure of Government’s National Beautification Programme.
He is calling on Barbadians to play their part to assist those who will soon be on the breadline.
Bishop Maxwell was at the time delivering the sermon at the St. Barnabas Anglican Church for the 55th anniversary of the Barbados Community College.
He also praised the institution for its contributions over the years and its renewed focus on entrepreneurship.
