BLP, ULP lauded for their contributions

The ruling parties with historic victories at the polls, the Barbados Labour Party in Barbados and St. Vincent and the Grenadines Unity Labour Party have been credited for their work in developing their respective countries and the Caribbean.

Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves recognized the strides made, stressing the BLP and ULP have made extraordinary contributions.

The accolades were paid during last evening’s opening of the BLP’s 83rd annual conference and awards ceremony, which is being held under the theme ‘Riding Rough Waves with Resilience; Taking Fresh Guard’.
