Local music producer Nicholas Brancker is one of three Barbadians to be conferred with honourary degrees when UWI holds its graduation in October.
The other two are former West Indies test cricketers Sir Cuthbert Gordon Greenidge, and Desmond Leo Haynes who will be awarded the Doctor of Laws Degrees.
Mr. Brancker, a prolific musician and producer, is to be presented with the Doctor of Letters on October 23rd by the Cave Hill Campus.
He told CBC News he’s humbled by the honour.
