The Barbados Secondary Teachers Union is calling on the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) to move up the timeline for the release of broad topics for students preparing for CSEC and CAPE exams in the coming weeks.
This after the Council announced earlier this week, some changes to its administration of the various exams due in large part to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition to delaying the dates for writing the exams by three weeks, Registrar Dr. Wayne Wesley said the CXC would release the broad topics within the next two weeks.
President, Mary-Anne Redman says the BSTU called for the immediate release of the topics with the expectation this would be done expeditiously.
