Bust in honour of Hilda Skeene unveiled

On the eve of the 25th anniversary of the Hilda Skeene Primary School in St. Philip, a limestone bust of the late Hilda Aston Skeene, renowned rural educator, was unveiled in her honour.

Wendy Burke attended the ceremony and tells us the educator and the school hold a place of pride in the parish, and in the hearts of pupils past and present.
