The Barbados Union Of Teachers (BUT) is at a loss regarding the proposed changes to aspects of the educational system in Barbados, by the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training (METVT).
Speaking with CBC News, President Rudy Lovell said there was limited information shared in passing by Dr Idamay Denny, during a meeting to discuss the return to face-to-face classes between the Ministry and the unions.
Mr Lovell is therefore encouraging the Ministry to engage the stakeholders in education on proposed changes.
