The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) is advising the public that it will be carrying out maintenance on pumps at one of its facilities in St. George. As such, the station will be taken offline on Thursday, May 12th, 2022 between 9:00 am and 12 noon.
Customers in some areas may be affected by water outages while the work is being conducted. These areas include Drax Hall Hope, Drax Hall Greens, Free Hill, Prerogative, St. Judes, Baird’s Village and surrounding districts.
Residents are advised to store water to assist, and water tankers will also be dispatched to service the districts as a temporary measure.
The Barbados Water Authority has apologized for any inconvenience this maintenance may cause.
