The Barbados Water Authority will be introducing district metres in an attempt to reduce the amount of water being lost to leaks.
Word of this from Parliamentary Secretary with Responsibility for Water Resources, Dr. Romel Springer.
He explains the metres will give the BWA a better sense of how much water is being pumped into a particular district.
