The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, as it mark its 60th anniversary, is boasting of the part it has been playing in the development of the Barbadian community.
The campus is being hailed as a tower of strength, producing graduates in all sectors of the community.
Cave Hill Campus began in 1963 as the College of Arts and Sciences at a temporary location near the Bridgetown Harbour, before it was moved to the present site at Cave Hill, St. Michael, in 1967.
Chair of the Cave Hill Anniversary Planning Committee, Dr. Henderson Carter says the campus has been able to produce the human resources needed to build Barbados.
Dr. Carter revealed on Mornin’ Barbados that as part of the celebration the campus will be giving back.
