Organisers of the Barbados Celtic Festival have been working with the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. in London to promote the Festival in a bid to encourage new visitors to the country.
After a prolonged hiatus due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and a scaled down version in 2022, the Festival, which is a cultural exchange of food and music, returns in full this year.
Director of the Festival, Jeana Leslie is upbeat about the line up and events set for May 17 to 21.
The BMTI says the Barbados Celtic Festival, despite the impact of the pandemic, has been able to grow its numbers.
Manager of Public Relations and Corporate Communications, Keisha Springer says they see it as an invaluable event on the island’s calendar.
She says the BTMI has been promoting Barbados as a place to visit year-round.
