Significant changes are being proposed for the way Parliament conducts its business.
They are coming from Independent Senator Kevin Boyce.
He wants Parliament to embrace the lessons learnt from the COVID-19 pandemic which saw members of Parliament meeting in person and some MPs contributing online.
He supports the country adopting a hybrid House of Assembly.
Senator Boyce was at the time contributing to Debate on a Resolution on the Report of the Standing Order Committee on the Amendments to the Standing Order.
