Charity pressing on despite challenges

Variety – the Children’s Charity of Barbados is pressing on with its work to create a bright future for children, despite challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic and a reduction in donations.

Executive Director, Marita Greenidge admits they have had to restructure as it has been a fight over the past years to keep their programmes going in the absence of its major fundraisers.

Ms. Greenidge says the Charity’s Gold Heart Pin campaign is back this year and she’s encouraging citizens to support the drive.

The limited-edition Gold Heart Pin features artwork from the film ‘Avatar: the Way of Water’.
