The Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training has received fifty laptops thanks to a generous donation from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China.
At a handover ceremony of the devices, Chinese Ambassador to Barbados his Excellency Yan Xiusheng said, the gesture is simply China fulfilling its role in ensuring all young people have access to technological tools in the digital era.
Delivering remarks on behalf of the Minister, Chief Education Officer Dr Ramona Archer-Bradshaw highlighted the 45 years of friendly relations between the two countries and said the timely donation will assist students in the online environment.
