There is no truth to the rumour circulating on social media that a man died at the Garfield Sobers Gymnasium in Wildey, St Michael today.
Confirmation of this came from Chief Medical Officer, Dr Kenneth George.
He started that while the man did collapse he did not pass away as stated in a viral post.
Police public relations officer, Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss, also told CBC News that while they understood that someone did collapse, they received no reports of him succumbing to his injuries.
