The Barbados Association of Medical Practitioners (BAMP) is recommending that elderly and immune compromised people continue to wear masks with the prevalence of influenza and RSV.
She tells CBC News larger households should be cautious.
The BAMP head is also asking the public to continue with hand sanitisation since it prevents the spread of viruses such as influenza and she wants them reintroduced in public places.
