As CARICOM marks its 50th anniversary, Barbados will be placing focus on the many Barbadians who have contributed to the bloc’s development over those years.
Barbados’ Ambassador to CARICOM, David Comissiong says they have played key roles.
Among those identified that he sees as the two greatest heroes and giants of Caribbean integration are the late Prime Ministers, the Right Excellent Sir Grantley Adams and the Right Excellent Errol Walton Barrow.
He also recognized the contributions of other leaders from then till now.
Ambassador Comissiong was a guest on the Conversations on CARICOM segment of CBC TV8’s Mornin’ Barbados.
