Covid-19 booster shots could be needed

Although there’s no policy in Barbados at the moment for a third shot, a local medical practitioner says we should not rule out the possibility of a booster jab in the future.

Specialist emergency physician, Dr Brian Charles, says over time we could see people’s immunity waning against the virus.

Speaking on Monday’s Face It and Fix It episode, Dr Charles suggested boosters could also be needed as new Covid-19 variants come into play.
