The number of reported COVID-19 related deaths in Barbados has risen by 43.
This revelation from Chief Medical Officer, Dr. The Most Honourable Kenneth George.
The CMO explains the increase in deaths comes following a decision by the Coroner’s office to carry out COVID-19 tests on people who died suddenly in the community, and their sudden demise was suspected to be as a result of the viral illness.
He was speaking during a press conference hosted by COVID-19 Public Advisor, David Ellis this morning.
