The COVID-19 death toll in Barbados is now 79 with the passing of a 52 year old Barbadian woman.
She died this afternoon, Saturday, October 2nd, after spending 9 days in isolation. She had comorbidities and was unvaccinated.
Health Minister Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic has extended condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
