An outbreak of COVID-19 has occurred at a Nursing Home in the Brandford Taitt Polyclinic Catchment.
COVID-19 Public Advisor, David Ellis, said that after two people tested positive for the virus, 25 members of staff and residents were tested, resulting in 17 new positives cases.
In following previously established guidelines for the management of outbreaks at nursing homes, plans are on the way to establish the Home as an official Isolation Facility, where all affected persons will be cared for.
